Quick Start Guide

An Admin creates an auction room and assigns you as the auctioneer. Once assigned, you get full control of that room. You'll see your room details on the Auctioneer Dashboard.

Your room is password-protected. Share the password with captains so they can join with their teams. You can change the password anytime from your dashboard.

Go to Players to manage your room's player pool. You can:

• Add players manually (name, type, base price, stats, photo)
• Import players in bulk via CSV upload
• Edit or delete players that haven't been sold yet
• Export the current player list as CSV

Go to the Auction Room to start auctioning players. Here's how the auction works:

• Select a player to put up for bid (or use random pick)
• A 10-minute timer starts — it resets after every bid
• Captains bid in increments: +25L (under 5Cr) or +50L (5Cr+)
• Each team gets 2 timer extensions (60 seconds each) per auction
• When the timer expires, the highest bidder wins the player
• If no one bids, the player goes UNSOLD

Once the auction is done, switch your room to Tournament phase from your dashboard. This unlocks match stat entry and leaderboard scoring.

During Tournament phase, go to Match Stats (appears in navbar). For each IPL match:

• Create a new match (date, teams, venue)
• Add sold players and enter their fantasy points
• Submit — points are automatically calculated for each team

As you import stats, the Leaderboard updates automatically. Teams are ranked by total fantasy points earned from their Playing XI selections.
